Lesson prices do change to match fuel and running costs but once agreeing a price with a client, I pride myself in never raising that clients lesson prices for the duration of the driving course even when running costs rise, subject to terms and conditions. Currently the price list is as follows. See the bottom of the page for full list of FREE SERVICES that I provide. Free services are subject to conditions.

Once clients start lessons I do not normally increase that clients' prices for the duration of lessons, even when running costs have risen as long as the client continues to take regular lessons with me without a break of two months or more.
First 4 hours for complete beginners - £50
There is no extra cost for week-end or evening lessons.

Assessment lessons, Mock tests, Hire of car for driving tests.
Assessment lessons, Mock Tests and Hire of car for clients who may already have some driving experience and may not wish to take regular lessons but feel the need for professional advice on their driving skill to see if they should apply for their test.
However, if a client wishes to take more lessons with me, they will be charged at the regular prices as set out above and may qualify for all my free services.
A mock test lesson is also for clients who may not wish to take regular lessons but believe they can pass the test and would just like to take a one off realisitic driving test under normal test conditions.
2 Hour Assessment Lesson / Driving Lesson + Mock Test 2 hours - £50
Taking a driving test when you are not ready and have no idea what is expected of you can be quite daunting and demoralizing if you fail. It also becomes expensive at £62 a time if you fail continuously. I can take you for a one off mock test and give you expert advice to hopefully help you pass first time.

When booking a driving test the Driving Standards Agency will set out a number of rules about the car you wish to take. Details can be found at www.direct.gov/drivingtests If your vehicle does not meet the required criteria, you test will be cancelled and you will LOSE your test fee.
Clients who wish to hire me and my car for a driving test need to first take a minumum 2 hour Mock Test lesson with me at £50 to assess clients ability.
Test booking service - £10
If a client has a minimum of 10 hours of lessons with me then the the test booking service is FREE.
Intensive Courses
I can cater for INTENSIVE courses booked in advance or sometimes at short notice. These course usually take place over a short period of time. Intensive courses MUST be paid for at least 2 weeks in advance or as soon as possible after time of booking if booking at very short notice. I regret I CANNOT offer a refund on lessons paid for in advance.
Intensive courses are subject to availability and the clients' skill and driving experience. Clients who have driving experience must take a minimum 2 hour assessment lesson for £50 to assess how many lessons they may need. This assessment lesson will not apply to complete beginners taking a 40 hour intensive course.
Itensive course prices are set out above as for block booking.
40 Hours is the minimum number needed for clients with no experience.
Driving Test Fee - £62. This is NOT included in the course price and must be paid for by the client.
It is advisable for clients doing intensive courses to have already passed the theory test as we cannot book your driving test until the theory is passed however this is not compulsory.

FREE THEORY AND PRACTICAL TEST BOOKING SERVICE
Some driving schools have a policy of charging a test booking fee on top of the test fee. This is not illegal but does add to the cost. Tests need to be paid for but booking them costs no more than a phone call or free when done online. Some schools may also charge extra to use the driving school car for the Practical test and also charge extra for the one hour before the test. My price is the same as for a 2 hour lesson.
FOR ME TO ACCOMPANY THE LEARNER DURING THE TEST IS FREE
The Driving Standards Agency would like instructors to accompany learners on test, however this is not compulsory so now the examiners will make a point of asking the test candidate if they would like the instructor to sit in on the test. Again some schools may charge extra to sit in on the test.
