Professional Driving Tuition.

   My name is Gary and I would like to take this opportunity to tell visitors to my site about myself.

I am an Independent Fully Qualified, Approved Driving Instructor (Car) based in Sleaford.

I am CRB checked and Registered with the Driving Standards Agency, (DSA)  and a member of the Motor Schools Association (MSA). I endeavour to give honest, professional driving tuition for an agreed fee.

I am a Grade 6 Instructor.

The following figures are supplied by the DSA and from 1 March 2011 and show the number of ADI's by their last check test grade.

When choosing an instructor ask lots of questions. There are some illegal instructors, not qualifed or registered and have no legal right to give instruction for money. If they are proper instructors they will not mind answering any questions and should be able to produce either a Green ADI licence for a fully qualified instructor or a Pink PDI licence for a trainee instructor and keep it displayed in the vehicle when giving tuition.

Previously I spent 13 years as a member of the Armed Forces and served around the world gaining a wealth of driving experience from the Falkland Islands to Bosnia, Croatia, Cyprus and across France and Germany not to mention the 4 corners of the UK.

I qualified in LGV (large goods vehicle) and also qualified to drive EOD (bomb disposal) vehicles at high speed. I also trained to drive minibuses and landrover with trailers on and off road exercises.

 I am married with two young children and have been teaching since 2002 having trained with a company called Passmasters based in Manchester. I then spent about 6 months with BSM before going it alone. The advantages of being an Independent Instructor are that I am not bound by the costs and restraints incurred by franchised instructors and can therefore offer a much more competetive rate for lessons including my block booking discounts and a much more personal service to my clients.
